Can you describe exactly what you did, so i can reproduce the error

comment The Watcher @ 10/25/2009

Open a forum, right click the thread and copy to clipboard. The fast after, the thread below, the next thread and then it occurs. So basicly I think it occurs when copying an URl to the clipboard before the old url has been parsed.

Strange it works for me, but i change some code to make it more safe. Can you try this version

I've tested it, but this version just locks up. It stops responding and I have to close it using the task manager (ctrl-alt-del). It does not produce a crash log.

comment Onthrax @ 10/25/2009

fuck, that version created a 0 byte rippedPostHistory.txt overwriting the old version and I didn't have a recent backup.. shit shit shit that's gonna be a whole lot of re-downloads... :( :( :( :( :(

comment Onthrax @ 10/25/2009

sorry to that problem, next version creates a backup of the txt file to avoid such problems.

Did the ripper work if you disable the Ripped Post History Function?

comment The Watcher @ 10/26/2009

Could you please try the new beta Version?!

the o byte rippedpost...txt is fixed.

comment The Watcher @ 11/4/2009

Was out of the country last weekend. I'll test the new version in the upcoming weekend m8. Hope it works, so I can start leeching again :) Cheers!

comment Onthrax @ 11/5/2009

OK, I tested it just now.

It's really really slughish (sorta slow). Images take 'ages' to download and when switched to it (as it loses focus when it is on top when copying threads to the clipboard) it gives an hourglass and takes a couple of seconds to 'unfreeze'.
When I click the 'pause downloads' button it locks up alltogether and I have to close it by force.

I don't know what you've changed but version 2.9.0.4 works perfectly. Fast, smooth and without any lockups. Only problem was not downloading all images bug...

Hope this helps in tracking down the problem...

Sorry for the issues i keep trying to make it more stable and fixing memory leaks, but most of the times it causes new problems.

But this beta was already a little outdated, currently i think i fixed the freezing problems

ps.: the pause button is currently out of order

comment The Watcher @ 11/9/2009
